ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Without discrimination toward race or sex, the following eligibility requirements shall apply to candidates for the SVHLEGACYLIVES Scholarship:

Graduating Senior
A 3.0 or higher GPA
Demonstrated service to community and to school
Intent to enroll as a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours) at an accredited college, university or technical school during the fall semester following graduation from high school with the intent of receiving a degree.
Minimum of (1) personal or professional reference

SELECTION PROCESS

The Scholarship Advisory Committee will review all completed applications and make recommendations.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The deadline for application will close at 11:59PM CST on April 30, 2023.
Recipients of the scholarship will be notified Wednesday May 10, 2023.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND DISBURSEMENT

Scholarships will be awarded based on the availability of funds, and may be used for tuition, fees and required books.
Scholarships will be paid directly to the recipients college, university or technical school.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants MUST write a 500 word or more essay on the topic listed below. All essays MUST be completed in full and submitted to SVHlegacylives@gmail.com by April 30, 2023.
